Retrobooster is a cave-flyer reminiscent of the older bullet-hell games such as ‘Spacewar!’ and Galaxian. The game features a highly responsive ship that requires skill and practice to properly maneuver. The game is exceedingly difficult but that’s where the fun begins.

At first Gabriel Knight’s bad voice acting and terrible graphics caused the game to seem irredeemable to me, but after a while, the charm of New Orleans and the bizarre murder story sucked me in, and I’m glad it did.
