Plants vs Zombies, Marvel Comics, and Clerks Minimates all make landfall onto the shelves of retail stores today, along with a new Godzilla bank that mech’s things up a bit.

Ready to get lost in space? The new(ish) space-faring mini-series from Dark Horse Comics titled Dark Matter will be adapted to TV by Syfy.

Wow was this a packed week of content as we had more NYCC coverage, a pair of new iPads were announced, Warner Bros tok the wraps off their DC Movie slate, we went behind the scenes on Halloween: Otome, and -of course- our continuing Brutal Gamer’s Month of Terror series …

Lots and lots of Dead at the McFarlane Toys booth this NYCC, and by that I mean The Walking Dead was in full effect with the usual 6″ action figure releases and the new building sets.

Comic Con’s mean cosplay and NYCC was a hotbed of some pretty amazing stuff last weekend.

Ha! Not what you were expecting me to review during horror month, eh?…Ha…ha…*sigh*.

Robocop vs Terminator, superheroes, plenty of horror figures, a NES-themed Rambo, and one big and nasty Alien Queen – NECA had a little something for everyone at the Con.

Its the month of scares and the prequal to The Conjuring tries its hardest to scare the audience but ultimately falls short at the final end.

It’s… not my favorite horror movie. In fact, I actually didn’t enjoy Friday the 13th. I can see how that at the time that it would have been cool, but it did not age well, unlike other movies from the time (cough Nightmare on Elm Street cough).
