Kanye West’s “Only One” Game Trailer Released

One of the biggest musicians on the face of the planet, Kanye West, has released the trailer for his personally developed indie game, Only One, during Youtube’s live coverage of E3.

Teaming up with Encyclopedia Pictura, the animation studio behind the Björk Wanderlust music video, West’s Only One will tell the story of his mother’s journey to the gates of heaven. The genre of the game is still unknown with the trailer lacking any actual gameplay segments.

The picturesque trailer captures what one would expect from a game developed by Yeezy himself: Bombastic, self-indulgent and lacking any subtlety at all. In the 45 second teaser, the lead character flies through the sky with wings of an angel and enjoys a joy ride on the back of a unicorn.

West has been developing the game for over a year, with Only One being privately shown to a few game developers at last year’s E3.
