Playing NBA 2K Playgrounds 2? Then you might enjoy the latest DLC for the game, which is free of charge and themed for the scariest day on the calendar.
This Halloween pack is actually the first of a series of planned downloadables for Playgrounds 2. As you might’ve heard, the game will apparently have quite a bit of DLC. Though I’m not sure how many of the future releases will be as free as this one.
This new update, available today on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC, and on Switch at a later date, introduces an exciting Halloween playground, an assortment of Halloween-themed outfits (available via Swag Pack unlocks), a new lottery pick called the Ankle Breaker, and one truly frightful sight for your opponents: the addition of all-time great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to NBA 2K Playgrounds 2’s roster of unlockable players.
As you might expect, there’s also a bunch of technical fixes included here. According to 2K, you’ll also get “a number of improvements and balance changes cultivated from player feedback post-release”. Those include:
- refinements for character speed, blocking rates, three-pointer percentages
- minor technical fixes to address issues with lag, AI and the shot meter”.
The Halloween fun is available to download and add onto your copy of NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 on consoles or the PC.
