The strongholds are a part of the Wasteland in the upcoming Mad Max game from Warner Bros and Avalanche, and making alliances with their bosses will get you closer to taking out the local warlord, Scrotus.
It’s a dangerous place, the wasteland. Loaded up with War Boys and assorted other people who really only have designs on killing old Max. Fortunately, there are allies to be made, and bases to find respite in. Warner Bros says that the strongholds in the game will be integral to besting Immortan Joe’s third offspring and local nasty Scrotus as well, so you’ll be making fast ‘friends’ with people like “Jeet, Gutgash, Pink Eye and Deep Friah”.
Plenty of customization in this one, as well as action in and out of your slapped-together ride, Mad Max is set to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st.
