It wasn’t too long ago that we were talking about how little had been seen so far about Inquisition, the third game in the Dragon Age series, well here’s a look that should have you clicking replay a few times.
“Our new ‘Discover the Dragon Age’ video highlights only some of the locations you can choose to visit during your adventure. Each area in the video has its own realistic ecosystem with predators, prey, factions, and opportunities to expand your Inquisition.”
Starting out with a ton and a half of promise, Dragon Age kind of went into the gaming doghouse with the release of the lackluster DAII. Inquisition though, looks spectacular in scope as well as just looking pretty darned gorgeous in the graphics department.
I mean seriously, did you watch that trailer? It’s probably way too early to start talking about comparisons, but Inquisition reminds me a ton of The Elder Scrolls series right off the bat. The massive landscapes that your can explore, the variety of monsters (and wildlife!), and of course, the world-ending plot all screams that the game is going to be an RPG to envelope lives en masse.
Whether it’ll live up to this early look or not is another story, but it sure does look fine and dandy right now. Expect lots more on BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition as we get closer to E3 in June.
