Downloading your games before release so you can play ’em the second they activate has been a staple of PC gaming for a while, and now Microsoft has followed Sony in adopting the policy for console players.

Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics dropped quite the bomb today at Gamescom as they announced that the upcoming Tomb Raider (reboot) sequel would be coming exclusively to the Xbox One.

The calm before the Gamescom storm this coming week saw news about Resident Evil and Sleeping Dogs updates break along with the reveal of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and our reviews of Sacred 3, The Last of Us Remastered, and a whole mess of DVDs.
