NYCC ’24: DC Comics unveils panels with Superman, Absolute Batman, the JSA, and more

With the New York Comic Con coming up next month, DC has a trio of panels planned, packed with some of its biggest properties.

While the NYCC slate for DC Comics isn’t the deepest of things, the publisher does have three panel presentations planned out. And from the sound of them, each of those will be fairly loaded, and filled with talk about some of DC’s biggest and most highly anticipated properties.

It all starts with an in-depth look at Gotham City and the Bat-titles on October 17th, which will be packed with creatives like Alex Segura, Christian Ward, Dan Watters, Hayden Sherman, Tate Brombal, and others. From there, DC rolls into the “Absolute/All In Universes”, a panel that will dive into DC’s full initiative for the rest of 2024 and even into 2025.

Finally, things wrap up with Jim Lee & Friends on Saturday, starring… Jim Lee and friends. While we don’t know the guest list, we do know that there will be “top comic creators” attending (according to DC), and also a “lineup of surprise announcements, reveals and special guests”. Should be a good one, if you love DC Comics.
