It’s going to be a busy Gamescom for Prime Matter, who’ll have some big name titles on hand, including the much anticipated System Shock remake.
Shocking
It’s been a while in the making, but it looks like System Shock’s remake is finally coming along. From the masters of retro-gaming over at Nightdive Studios, System Shock completely remakes the classic PC FPS/RPG title from the 90s. That means more or less the same classic gameplay, but with all new looks and sound.
The title is just one of the games that Prime Matter will have on hand for Gamescom 2022. Joining it will be the anime-fueled Gungrave G.O.R.E., role-playing title the Last Oricru, and an as-yet unannounced RPG set in a post-apocalyptic future.
Gamescom ’22 is set to take place in Cologne, Germany, and kick off on August 24th. So in a little over a month’s time, we should have a bunch more to talk about as go the above games.
Is there a chance System Shock launches this year? Cross your fingers.
