This week’s Nintendo Download, brings The Adventures of Elliot, Observer: System Redux, R-Type, and a whole bunch more.
Elliot and the Observer
Okay, so most of this week’s games aren’t exactly big name titles. Nevertheless, there look to be some gems in with this edition of the Nintendo Download, depending on what you might be looking for. Maybe the biggest of those, is The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, out now on Switch 2.
An action/RPG that’s billed as being from the team behind Octopath Traveler, this fantasy title follows an adventurer and his fairy companion. Square Enix says the game features a selection of weapons to wield, as well as Fairy Actions. It also has a pretty great look, which seems to be in line with the aforementioned role-player. So if you liked the look of Octopath Traveler, you might want to check The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales out as well.
The next spotlight game takes things from fantasy to cyberpunk. That arrives in the form of Observer: System Redux for the Switch 2, Bloober Team’s neural detective story. Starring actor Rutger Hauer, this port of the acclaimed title send player on a horror-themed adventure in a dystopian world. But while you’ll be investigating crime scenes, what you won’t do is engage in all-out action. Instead, players will have to hack the minds of both suspects and victims, as they solve puzzles.
