Here’s the launch trailer for Spyro, hitting Switch and PC next week

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to the Switch and PC next week, and there’s a fresh trilogy for you to check out today.

Burning it up

If you are a big Spyro fan, chances are that you’ve already played the Reignited Trilogy. Released last year, the collection included all three of the original PSOne/2-era titles starring the little purple dragon.

Much like the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, all of the games were completely redone too. No mere ‘remaster’, these are re-created from the ground up, and mighty impressive looking. Each looked like an action/platformer that was created in the current era.

We reviewed the game here for the Xbox One and gave it an 83%.

Toys for Bob makes three old games look young again, and it feels that way inside and out in Spyro Reignited Trilogy. You don’t need fond memories of PS1 graphics to appreciate this storied franchise anymore.

Originally, the game was only available for the Xbox One and PS4. More platforms were announced earlier this year though, those being the Switch and PC.

Now we’re just a week out from those. So if you’ve been waiting, or you only have access to one of those two platforms and want to play Reignited Trilogy, your time is here.
