Invincible Iron… heart?

I’ve said this before, but I’ll repeat it anyway. I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t disappointed that Riri wasn’t going to be just called Iron Man. Personally, I though reverting things to the point where they were years back, would have been very interesting indeed.

Iron Man, secretly Williams, could have become Tony Stark’s bodyguard again. Tony would have to hang up the superhero stuff of course. Maybe go back to being purely a businessman and have IM watche his back. Since we’re talking high-tech armor here, there’d be no need to even note a difference in body type.

That also would have been a great way to reinstate Tony’s secret identity. You know, when he finally takes up the armor again (oh stop, you know it’s going to happen). I feel like that’s a missed opportunity to shake up the character even more.

Still, what is cool about this move is that Ironheart can stay a superhero after the aforementioned occurs. There’s no transition to a new ID necessary. So that’s something I guess.

Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter. Scroll down for the preview.
