Dark Horse Comics opens up shop on Kindle

Comic fans can now peruse Dark Horse Comics’ catalog of books on Amazon’s popular reader.

Already on iOS/Android mobiles and tablet and the likes of the nook and Kobo, Dark Horse’s books are finally available on the Kindle and can be purchased right in the Kindle storefront.

The publisher has, in my opinion, some the of best comics on the market today including books based on the Star Wars, Buffy, Conan, and Serenity/Firefly universes. Then of course, there’s what I think just might be the best all around comic on the market today- BPRD. The mix of horror, action, adventure, and humornever disappoints me. Over 100 of Dark Horse’s top titles will be featured to kick things off and the Amazon catalog will grow from there.

“I’m very excited about Dark Horse graphic novels coming to the Kindle” said Mark Bernardi, Dark Horse’s Director of Digital Publishing. “Not only does it give fans another way to enjoy their favorite Dark Horse titles, it is going to introduce our amazing catalog to a whole new audience.”

More will be added in monthly and the first batch of books is available right this very second in the Kindle store. Your Thanksgiving afternoon is now officially spoken for.
