Superman has hit a monster of a milestone. DC’s Action Comics has, at long last, arrived at the landmark issue #1000, and you best believe there are variants. A whole lot of variants.

You’re not seeing things. Fresh from the Masters of the Universe/Thundercats crossover, DC Comics is actually pitting He-Man and crew against the rogue Superman of their alternate Injustice timeline.

Harley Quinn as a New God? Looks like that’s just what’s on tap for the clown princess of whatever, as she falls into the clutches of Granny Goodness… or is that the other way around?

One of DC Collectibles’ premier statue lines, Cover Girls is fast becoming a top notch set of DC’s heaviest-hitting females. At C2E2 this week, the company announced that the series would be welcoming in a very cool new rendition of Catwoman, by Joelle Jones.

The fallout from DC’s Metal event will indeed be pretty far-reaching, as the publisher has announced a pair of new Justice League books. But that’s not all, as changes are afoot for Teen Titans as well.

I think this might be a “first of its kind” kinda thing, and it sounds pretty darn cool. Insight Editions has a variating frame of mind with its latest tome – DC Comics Variant Covers: The Complete Visual History.

Fans of legendary comic book creator/writer/artist Frank Miller should be very happy. Expect to see no less than five new projects coming up from the icon.

Green Arrow is in for a world of hurt this summer, as the new creative team of Julie Benson and Shawna Benson will put him at odds with the Suicide Squad’s boss – Amanda Waller.

DC’s latest animated film is spinning out into a sequel comic with Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay. The 12 issue series will be digital only, with the first chapter available right now.

This summer is a big one for comics in general. For their part, DC Comics will be diving into new eras for Superman, but also the Justice League. For their premier super-team, that means top notch talent and a new lineup that includes an old (green) friend.

Remember that super-limited (and expensive) Joker bust we told you about, then showed you at Toy Fair? Well, DC has just announced a variant piece. It’s even more limited (and yes, even more expensive).
