SDCC 26: IDW reveals variants and in-booth freebies

IDW Publishing will be heading to the San Diego Comic Con this month, and bringing a bevy of exclusive variant covers and goodies with them.

Godzilla!

Publisher of an impressive slate of titles that includes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek comics lines, IDW is indeed heading to SDCC later this month. And when the publisher arrives, it’s set to stock a few key variants in its booth on the show floor. Those will be spearheaded by a couple of Godzilla-themed editions, some of which star the massive monster.

The biggest of them (and no pun intended) looks to be Godzilla vs America. That’ll feature a mighty image of the big guy torching the convention center, from Godtail. That’s not all for Godzilla though. He’s also on the variant for Star Trek: Red Shirts – Ghost of the 21St Century #1, plus Sonic The Hedgehog X Godzilla #1. Then there’s also a variant of The Horror of Godzilla #1 by Andrew K Currey. So there should be plenty of the big guy to go around.

While it might sound like it though, it’s not all Godzilla. Aside from the King of the Monsters, there are some additional books you might want to check out, like TMNT #300, TMNT: The Last Ronin – Training Day, The Rocketeer: Infiltrator! #1, and more.

All of the above will be included in IDW Publishing‘s brand new booth, which’ll be #2729 on the show floor. Again though, that’s not all that there’ll be for attendees to check out. Along with the above, which’ll be for purchase, there’s a slate of freebies as well.

Those are sounding pretty neat too, though keep in mind that everything will be first-come, first-served. So if you want any of the items below, make sure you get over to the booth sooner than later. As for what you can expect, the free items will include:
