SDCC ’26: Registration opens for Unlock DC

DC is ramping up into Comic Con mode, and has revealed that registration has officially opened for the online destination “Unlock DC“.

The “central hub” for all things DC and Comic Con is here. Via the publisher’s new digital destination, fans can discover “programming, activations, panels and experiences” that’ll be happening throughout this week’s San Diego Comic Con. So, right now anyway, it sounds as though Unlock DC will be an SDCC-related activity.

The “digital destination” looks to roll the publisher’s full catalogue of convention happenings into one online locale. The point being to make navigating DC‘s portion of the biggest Comic Con in the world a little easier. Not that that’s all it’ll do, because along with that, there’s a bit of a meta game included.

Users can earn stars by scanning QR codes on DC Street Signs. Among other things, those will then be usable for redemption at the DC Reward Truck, hidden in locations around the city. There said fans will be able to exchange their collected “stars” for goodies. As for where that truck will be, the DC website will be the spot to watch. Locations will be announced there, as redemption periods begin.

Those won’t be too plentiful either. DC only has two such periods planned, one on Thursday and one on Friday. So if you want in on the goodies that they’ll be exchanging for those stars, you might want to register now. After that, make sure to get to scanning so you’re ready to hustle to the truck.

Unlock DC serves as the central hub for all to discover DC programming, activations, panels and experiences. The mobile-first web experience brings together DC’s full convention footprint into one destination, making it easier for everyone to navigate everything DC has happening across the convention hall and the city. Register in advance to jump into Unlock DC as soon as it goes live Thursday morning. Early registrants will receive a notification the moment the experience launches. 

Throughout the convention, registered participants can visit key DC Street Signs located throughout the convention area to scan QR codes, unlock exclusive offers and discount and earn stars that can be redeemed for a reward from the DC Reward Truck, including an exclusive DC collectible watch.  

Keep an eye on the Unlock DC website, where the secret location of the DC Reward Truck will be revealed when reward redemption begins. Appearing at just one location per day on Thursday and Friday, the truck won’t stay hidden for long. Fans are encouraged to check the site regularly and follow DC Official social channels for additional alerts when it’s time to redeem their stars.
