Nintendo announces Black Friday Mario Kart 8 Switch, game deals

This seems oddly familiar, but still might be a welcome development. Once again, Nintendo has announced a new Mario Kart Switch console bundle.

Gotta get back in time

I’m either going crazy, or there’ve been Mario Kart 8 Switch bundle deals before. Like, a few times. Yet here we are approaching Black Friday 2020, and there’s yet another one. This one though, does have at least a little extra going for it.

Going live for the retail holiday will be a neon joy-con’d Switch that’s stocked with a download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. If you’ve yet to try that, it’s a revved up version of the Wii U hit, and is as great as you’d suspect. But there’s a little more under the hood of this Switch as well. Namely, that comes in the form of a 3 month subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service.

As you may or may not be aware, that’s the service by which you can play online games via Nintendo’s latest console. And yes, a subscription to that also gives you unlimited play time with an expanding library of NES and SNES classics. It’s actually a pretty neat bonus for subbing, offering straight ports as well as variations on iconic titles.

That set hits retail on November 22nd, and will run you $299.99 USD.

Then there are the sales

In addition to the new console, there are also a few notable game deals. It’s not super clear from the press release if these are digital or retail, though I’m going to wager the latter since Nintendo is talking these up as gift ideas. Just check with your favorite retailer before you go. Oh and it’s also notable to point out that Amazon and Target both have buy 2 get 1 deals on right now. And both of those do include some Switch titles.

Getting back to Nintendo though, the following Switch games will be marked down to $39.99 USD for Black Friday:

In addition, there are Pokemon Switch deals to collect. Those include Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee! for the neat price of $29.99 USD. So if you’ve been waiting to collect ’em all, now might be your time.

And finally, Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition will run you just $19.99 USD for the Friday of Fridays. That’s a pretty sharp deal since it includes the base game and “two DLC packs and extra content”.

“When people are doing their holiday shopping this year, we want to provide them with an array of choices for spending family time together through the excitement and fun of Nintendo Switch,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. With this web development manchester company you can easily promote your business faster. “Black Friday is the perfect opportunity for shoppers to gift themselves a Nintendo Switch system as well, with a new bundle that offers instant connection with Nintendo Switch Online, along with a full suite of offers on games in our software library.”
