Trine 4 dated, as new trailer arrives

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince has been in the works for a while, and now it’s just about here with an October release date, and a new trailer.

All the colors

It might just be me, but Trine 4 looks way better than the previous games in the series. Like way better. The colors in the new trailer are flat-out stunning, and Modus Games’ latest seems like it might be something special.

In addition to looking sharp, Trine 4 is also sporting something new for the series. For the first time, gamers will be able to engage in some four player co-op. Modus says that it’s also loaded up with new enemies and puzzles, as well as an “all-new combat” system.

Coming to consoles and the PC in both physical and digital formats, Trine 4 will also get a collector’s edition of sorts. You’l be able to pick up a Complete Collection, that includes all four games in the series.

Trine: Ultimate Collection at retail will include:

  • Trine 1-4
  • Trine Series Original Soundtrack (download code)
  • Trine 4 Digital Art Book (download code)

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
