Full list of Halloween Comics Fest offerings released

Believe it or not, Halloween is only about four months off. So yeah, it’s probably time to start talking about Halloween Comics Fest.

Boo!

Yeah it might feel a little funny to talk about Halloween-anything in June, but this does indeed make sense. That’s because Diamond just released the list of Halloween Comics Fest offerings, which you’ll be able to pick up at said event.

If you don’t know what that is by the way, it’s more or less the fall version of Free Comic Book Day. So you’ll be able to walk into your local comics shop (most of them anyway) and pick up some free comics. That’s always a nice deal.

“This year’s Halloween ComicFest is poised to be the best yet!” said Halloween ComicFest spokesperson Ashton Greenwood. “The comics available this year reflect a broad range of tastes. The All-Ages Mini Comics feature popular characters like Rocky & Bullwinkle, Archie, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, while the Full-Size Comics feature well-known properties like Hellblazer, Spider-Man, and Goosebumps!  Halloween ComicFest is the perfect time to introduce friends and families to the wonders of comic shops, and experience them as premiere destinations for Halloween fun!”

This year’s event actually does look like it’s gong to be pretty solid, since there’ll be a heavy does of the freebies. Expect to see a total of 34 books in stores, including 22 full size issues and 12 mini-comics. Aside from being free, you can also buy packs of the minis, with the idea of giving them out on Halloween instead of candy. The minis will come in packs of 25 and will cost you $4.99 USD each, which isn’t too bad to make your Halloween handouts a little cooler.

Here’s the full list of what you’ll be able to take home on Saturday, October 27th:
