Batman & Robin’s dynamic duo coming up from Hot Toys

Hot Toys has cooked up a doozy this time, bringing the Dark Knight and Boy Wonder to fans, from the 90s Batman & Robin flick.

This is why Superman works alone

Does time heal all wounds? Can the decades stem the tide of derision that fans once heaped onto the legendary Batman & Robin feature film? Honestly, it kinda looks that way. The last in the line from the first Batman movie series (unless you count 2023’s The Flash), Batman & Robin was a notoriously campy take on the iconic title heroes that made Batman Forever look like director Tim Burton’s original.

Odd as it may sound though to long time fans, the merch train has once again begun rolling for that very movie though, and it looks like nostalgia is finally taking hold for fans. As for high-end figure company Hot Toys, it’s full steam ahead.

As a result, some time in late ’25 or early ’26, you’ll be able to add actor George Clooney’s Batman and Chris O’Donnell’s Robin to your own collection.

Batman

George Clooney once joked that his turn as The not-so Dark Knight killed the franchise. Obviously that couldn’t have been further from the truth, and at this point it seems as though fans are warming to his portrayal in a big way. If that fits your take, then you might want to take a look at what might be the best adaptation of Clooney’s version of the character ever.

Hot Toys‘ upcoming Batman will feature all of the company’s hallmarks, with that looks like some excellent sculpting and tons of accessories.

The Batman 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a detailed likeness of George Clooney in the role. The hand-painted cowled headsculpt utilizes Hot Toys’ innovative rolling eyeball design, allowing fans to adjust the figure’s gaze, and it comes with 3 swap-out lower face pieces for additional display options.

This highly poseable figure is dressed in an expertly tailored Batsuit, which features a black utility belt, gauntlets, and a cape with embedded wire.

Gotham’s protector is ready for action with a Bat-Launcher and interchangeable accessories, 3 Batarangs, a Bat-Saw, a Bat-Bomb, plus a Bat-Laser.

Batman also comes with a credit card accessory featuring the Batman logo. He never leaves the cave without it!

Robin

Escaping much of the flak that Batman got in Batman & Robin, the movie’s version of Dick Grayson kind of melded the hero’s Robin and Nightwing personas into one character. That means a much darker costume than the one that fans saw in Batman Forever, and some new weapons to go with his Poison Ivy-induced new attitude.

The Robin 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a hand-painted headsculpt with a realistic likeness of Chris O’Donnell in the role. This highly poseable figure has over 30 points of articulation and features Hot Toys’ rolling eyeball design, allowing for nuanced expressions.

The young crime-fighter is dressed in a meticulously crafted black suit with metallic red accents, which includes a utility belt, cape, and gauntlets.

Robin is ready for the streets of Gotham City with an array of red and silver accessories including a Throwing Bird, a laser gun, a pair of climbing devices, and a pair of ice-climbing picks.

Make it a dynamic duo and add the Robin 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys to your collection! Available to pre-order now from Sideshow.com.

As mentioned above, while both of these figures look stellar, they’re still a ways off. Batman is priced in at $265 USD, while Robin is $260, and both are scheduled to ship some time between October of 2025 through March of 2026.

If you’d like to secure either of both, hit those Sideshow links above, as both figures are ready for pre-order now.
