Hot Toys revisits Terminator 2’s T-800 for stunning new figure

Sideshow just took the wraps off of Hot Toys’ newest creation, a T-800 that looks ripped straight from the big screen’s Terminator 2.

Hasta la vista, baby

Was Terminator 2 the pinnacle of the series? From where we sit, it definitely was, as the film improved upon the original Terminator in pretty much every way, and set a high-water mark for not just the series, but sci-fi in general.

So with that in mind, it’s not all that surprising to see that Hot Toys decided to head back to that familiar territory for its latest offering. On tap for late 2025, the company has its second sixth scale iteration of a battle-damaged T-800 en route, and it looks like it might be one of the coolest versions of the character to ever be cast in plastic.

Not only does this fig sport the likeness of legendary action star Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it’s stocked with some great looking accessories, plus some optional parts to re-enact the movie’s climax. Oh, and yes, of course there’s an LED light-up eye. This is Hot Toys we’re talking about.

Celebrate the enduring legacy of Terminator 2: Judgment Day with the T-800 (Battle Damaged Version) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys, which features an authentic and detailed likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the iconic role of Cyberdyne Systems Model 101. This detailed piece boasts a new, hand-painted headsculpt with Hot Toys’ rolling eyeball design, allowing for nuanced poses. A swap-out damaged head, which reveals the underlying endoskeleton and an LED light-up eye, is also included. Additional swap-out pieces include a battle-damaged arm and a range of hands including a thumbs-up gesture.

This highly poseable figure features over 30 points of articulation. The T-800 wears an expertly tailored, battle-damaged costume, which comes with two genuine leather jackets, one of which has a torn left sleeve, a pair of genuine leather pants, a printed gray tee, a genuine leather belt, and a bandolier.

Ready to protect the future of mankind, he is equipped with a machine gun, a rifle, a pistol, a grenade launcher, a rod, and a set of bullets. A specially designed LED light-up steel mill-themed base with a movie logo and a character nameplate allows collectors to create an immersive display.
