Since Valiant Comics rebooted, Bloodshot has continued to be one of their most interesting heroes. A man born out of a nanotech-infused experiment, Ray Garrison is the ultimate soldier. Or, is he? For that matter, is he even Ray Garrison?

The questions have been piling up for the anti-hero, with no real reveals. Well, not till the latest series, Bloodshot: Rising Spirit kicked off anyway. In it, Bloodshot meets a rogue agent from the project that created him – Rising Spirit.

The agent’s goal? Reveal the truth at any cost. Valiant promises origin details for this one, but also the true “mastermind” behind the memory implants that have confused Ray’s mind.
