The Game of the Year edition of the excellent The Witcher 3 is almost here.
The Witcher 3, now even more witchier
We kind of missed this one, but it bears reporting anyway, considering just how popular The Witcher 3 was and is. Yes, there’s a GotY edition of The Witcher 3 coming to consoles and the PC. And yes it’ll be here next week.
If you’ve already played this one, then you know how good it is. And as good as the base game is, its expansion packs add in even more to do. All of which culminates with the monstrously huge (and new) world of Toussaint in the Blood and Wine pack. As you might have suspected too, the GotY edition has that pack and more, loaded with all the content for the game. So that means you’ll get not just the base and Blood and Wine, but Hearts of Stone and all the DLC as well.
Neatly put, there’s a lot to do here. All in all, it’s 150 hours of possible gameplay, in a wide-open, fantasy world that just might be the best action/role-player of all time.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year quests onto retail shelves and digital storefronts on August 30th. You can check out our review of the core game here.
