Check out what Batman: Arkham Knight will look like when it’s running on your next(current)-gen console and PC when it drops in later this year.
The Official Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer – “Evening the Odds” showcases Scarecrow’s return to Gotham City as he schemes to unite the Rogues Gallery and destroy Batman once and for all. As the citizens flee and criminal gangs take control, the Dark Knight evens the odds by taking to the streets in the legendary Batmobile to ignite the fight that will decide the future of the city that he is sworn to protect.
Pretty good stuff right there. Far and away, this is a next generation Batman title and the best looking of the series, which already has three pretty nice looking games under its umbrella by the way.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the capper to Rocksteady’s ‘Arkham’ line of games and, while I certainly hope they simply jump to another story arc after this one comes to a close, it will be the final game in what’s been an excellent series. This time around, gamers can take command of the famous car that the Dark Knight tools around Gotham in as well, and it certainly seems like a heck of a lot of work has been put into crafting a Batmobile that looks and acts like an amalgam of the comics and movie rides that he’s driven over the years.
As a pretty monstrous Bat-fan myself, I can’t wait to jump behind the wheel when Batman: Arkham Knight arrives for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC this Autumn.
