For the second time in a few months, Darksiders Genesis grabs our Game of the Month honors. Is it worth it, or does it just keep getting lucky?

Blizzard’s remaster of Warcraft III ushers in our Game of the Month nods for 2020, in what was otherwise a very weak month otherwise.

Not that there was a multitude of possible picks to mull over last month, but we did choose a winner regardless. It’s the latest in the Darksiders series.

November was a powerful month for big games, mainly because of headliners Death Stranding and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Yeah, we’re late again with this feature, but it’s still worth talking about how absolutely glorious The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is.

We’re a bit tardy with the Game of the Month reveal for March, but it was an excellent game regardless. Of course, I’m talking about Devil May Cry V.

Before February started, it looked like it was set to be a big month for blockbusters. Now that the dust has settled, only Metro Exodus remains.

A shock GotM vote turned underdog Assassin’s Creed Odyssey into our Game of the Month over juggernaut Red Dead Redemption 2.

The dry spell of July has ended. There were, however, several interesting new titles released that caught our eyes. So the staff conferred, and we have decided upon July’s Games of the Month.

The blood-sucking RPG Vampyr took our gold award for June, making it our Game of the Month. Though our runners up were pretty great too.

Yes, this one is late, but you tell a Cimmerian he’s tardy. Conan Exiles’ final retail release is the Brutal Gamer Game of the Month for May.

There was little in April that could even come close to God of War. The reinvention of Kratos, the introduction of the Norse pantheon, and the all around excellent design and gameplay was a package that we all voted for… well, almost all of us.

For the first time since we started issuing “Game of the Month” honors, we have a tie. A Way Out and Sea of Thieves were both good enough to garner the votes to bring home the gold.

There wasn’t all that much hitting retail this past January, but there were a few sparkly gems in there nonetheless. And our favorite out of all of them was Monster Hunter World.

End your year with our Game of the Year for November. Doom is a game that you probably already knew well, but made a fresh splash on the Nintendo Switch.
