Back behind enemy lines, Sniper Elite: Resistance lines up some brand new DLC

A spinoff to Rebellion’s popular WWII series, Sniper Elite: Resistance is ready to send players back into action, with Striking Range.

Released earlier this year, Sniper Elite: Resistance put players in the boots of Allied sniper Harry Hawker. The title spun off of the standard series, complete with the new hero and set of new missions, this time in France, hence the subtitle. Now Harry is back in action, for a fresh assignment called Striking Range.

A downloadable content offering for the game, “Striking Range” sends Harry on a quest to stop the Germans from launching a barrage of V1 rockets at the invading D-Day force. But it’s not the only piece of new content included in the pack, as Rebellion has also loaded in some new arms and some skins too.

That’s all on top of a free drop as well, that brings The Commando Weapon & Skin Pack.

Prevent a devastating V1 rocket barrage from decimating the Allied invasion fleet ahead of D-Day while also attempting a covert rescue of the captured Resistance operative, Carillon. Extract the asset and employ whatever means necessary to sabotage the launch site and put it beyond use, permanently.

As mentioned above, while Striking Range is paid DLC, there’s also a neat little drop of free content that’s just landed with it. The Commando Weapon and Skin Pack includes both a pretty cool sounding rifle, and a new weapon skin for players to make use of.

The Commando Weapon and Skin Pack adds the deadly D.L. Carbine Rifle and the Covert Rifle Wrap to your arsenal. The D.L. Carbine is a suppressed rifle that is extremely quiet, making it a staple weapon among Allied Commandos. The D.L. Carbine also pairs perfectly with the Covert Rifle Wrap, which enhances the stealth capabilities of elite operatives on even the most dangerous of covert missions.
