The kids are back for a little more LARPing in THQ Nordic’s South Park: Snow Day

Is it LARPing if you can summon actual fire from above? Eh, hard to say, but South Park: Snow Day is looking neat either way.

Come on down to the enchanted forest

It’s been a while since the South Park gang has starred in a video game, but the long-running property made a fresh announcement to that end late last week. That word came in the form of South Park: Snow Day, a new 3D adventure that sets the kids up for a little high-fantasy action.

Players will stand in as “the new kid”, and be able to team up with up to four buddies (or bots) as they engage the “elves”, and meet the cast from the toon. Fans will be able to craft their own “new kid”, with plenty of cosmetic parts, and be able to both upgrade weaponry and use special abilities in their quest.

Play as the New kid in South Park and join Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny, in three-dimensional glory, to celebrate the most magical day in any young child’s life – a snow day!

Grab up to three friends, in this four-player co-op, and battle your way through the snow-piled town of South Park on a quest to save the world and enjoy a day without school. It’s a snow day, dude!

THQ Nordic press release

South Park: Snow Day is coming up some time in 2024 for the PC, Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
