Time to hit the gridiron, with Season 2 of Blood Bowl 3

NACON and Cyanide Studios’ specific brand of ‘fantasy’ football continues, with Blood Bowl 3’s new Season 2.

Kick(your head)off

Fans of Games Workshop’s tabletop football title already know all about developer Cyanide Studios’ video game translation. The title is in its third iteration at this point, and it’s a game that continues to see new additions and fresh content even though it’s been out for a while.

Take Season 2, for example, which is loaded with new content like the spectator mode, the anticipated Blood Pass, and the “Underworld Denizens” faction. Check out the odoriffic new team in the launch trailer below.

The second season of Blood Bowl 3 introduces a new faction called the Underworld Denizens, a team composed of the worst creatures of the underworld: SkavenGoblins, Snotlings Trolls. The players in this faction are despised by everyone because of their repulsive appearance – caused by mutations from warpstone-infused mushroom elixirs – and because of their particularly underhanded tactics. Although they are quite lightweight in the strength department, except for the Rat Ogres & Trolls, players in this faction can still be formidable opponents because they are highly mobile, and their unusual use of Snotlings as cannon fodder adds strength in numbers. The Underworld Denizens arrive alongside a new, faction-themed pitch, coach, cheerleaders and ball.

NACON press release

Season 2 of Blood Bowl 3 is live right now, and along with the base title can be grabbed and played by way of Xbox and PlayStation consoles or the PC.
