Jagged Alliance 3 Console Edition hits pre-order, debuts this November

Making the leap from the PC is Jagged Alliance 3, as the latest edition of the strategy series will hit consoles in November.

New alliances

Jagged Alliance has been around for a good long time at this point, and in a few different incarnations. There’s the original series, which is the one that still has plenty of fans, but from there the turn-based adventures kind of got lost in a sea of spinoffs.

That period came to end when THQ Nordic and developer Haemimont Games grabbed the license, and brought Jagged Alliance back to its core with a proper three-quel earlier this year. And it wasn’t long after that PC version dropped that there was an announcement for a pending console version.

Grand Chien, a nation of rich natural resources and deep political divides, is thrown into chaos when the elected president goes missing and a paramilitary force known as “The Legion” seizes control of the countryside. Now, the President’s family has pulled together all their resources, including an arrangement with the powerful Adonis corporation, to hire a group of skilled mercenaries tasked with finding the President and bringing order back to the country.

THQ Nordic press release

If you’ve been waiting to play the above on your console of choice, then we’ve got some good news for you. THQ Nordic has officially taken the wraps off of a release date, and now has the launch set for November 16th, 2023. And as mentioned too, fans can pre-order the title now for either Xbox or PlayStation platforms, complete with some perks.

Pre-ordering any version of the game will net prospective players a cool 20% off of the ticketed price, plus entry into an early access period. And that’s a buff that will see the game activate a full 48 hours before the official launch.
