Cyberpunk action title Wanted: Dead takes a katana to prices, is on sale now

A cyberpunk, anime-fueled, third-person shooter/slasher from developer Soleil, Wanted: Dead is one sale now.

Slashin ‘n’ shootin

Update: Sorry folks, we misread the original release, and the game is on sale now for consoles. It’s actually been out since earlier this year, which we should’ve known since we have a review on the way.

Before we get to the sale info, here’s one of the latest looks at Wanted: Dead, a cyberpunk actioner from developer Soleil. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because the studio has been involved in the development of games like Dead or Alive, and fan-favorite Ninja Gaiden.

Wanted: Dead was developed by Soleil, the makers of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. Play as Lt. Hannah Stone, the no-nonsense ass kicking leader of the Zombie Unit, a special team of former war criminals operating within the ranks of the Hong Kong police force. Use your guns, grenades and sword to eliminate the enemy with razor sharp combos and over 50 finishers.

110 Industries press release

Into it? Well, then you’re in luck, because as mentioned the game’s on sale now. Subscribers to Xbox Gold who’ve yet to take the plunge, can grab an Xbox copy for a massive 50% off the asking (from July 18th – July 25th), and PS+ members can get the PlayStation version for the same (from July 19th – August 2nd), but starting tomorrow.

That should inject a little added action into your summertime.
