Yeah, it might not have been all that well received when it arrived in theaters back in 1997, but the movie version of Starship Troopers has definitely hung around. The film has spawned more than a few fans of the core property, and even a few spinoffs.

What it hasn’t gotten though, are too many games. Well cue developer Slitherine, and Starship Troopers: Terran Command. The new game, arriving tomorrow, is looking sharp and seems to actually fit the license.

Here’s the most recent look at the game, from a chat with the devs just a few days ago. Just a warning, it’s pretty lengthy.

Starship Troopers – Terran Command is an intense real-time strategy title that tasks players with defending the galaxy against infinite hordes of insects. Facing seemingly insurmountable odds, commanders will need to employ deadly strategic tactics when deploying their units on the battlefield.
