The PC Gaming show returns on June 12th

No E3? No problem, if you’re a PC fan. PC Gamer will be returning with the PC Gaming Show, an event stocked with announcements and surprises.

It’s a weird time for shows in general, as some have been cancelled a. while other have rolled on with little to no ill-effect. Nevertheless, E3 those to pull the plug again back in March, so don’t expect the yearly showcase to appear next month.

That’s not to say that there won’t be announcements though, as there will be some events happening. There will presumably be a Nintendo Direct of some kind, and Microsoft/Bethesda will have a showcase as well. Now you can add to that list with the PC Gaming Show.

Put on by the long-running PC gaming publication PC Gamer, the PC Gaming Show will will return on June 12th, and it’ll be loaded for bear. According to the press release, fans can expect “over 45 games” to be covered, and those include some that you don’t know about just yet.

Highlights include:

  • An unannounced game from 11 bit studios
  • A brand-new project from Klei Entertainment
  • An exclusive interview on Arma 4 with Bohemia Interactive
  • The final trailer for Sam Barlow’s mind-bending Immortality
  • New gameplay of the ambitious mod project Half-Life: Alyx – Levitation
  • An update on Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 from Saber Interactive’s Tim Willits
  • First gameplay from the highly anticipated grand strategy game Victoria 3

With the last event drawing some 35 million viewers, the PC Gaming Show has quickly become pretty big time. And to make sure you all tune in again, PC Gamer will be giving away a monster of a computer. One lucky viewer will win a “dream PC from the custom builders at iBUYPOWER”. Can’t get much better than that.

The PC Gaming Show will take place on the 12th of June (a Sunday), at 3:30pm eastern time. That’s just after the Microsoft event. You’ll be able to catch it via Twitch or YouTube.

Also worth a mention is GamesRadar’s Future Games Show. That’ll be taking place on June 11th, and you can hit the link above to find out more.
