Valiant’s X-O Manowar series finally restarts tomorrow

The second issue of Valiant’s latest X-O Manowar run rolls onward tomorrow, following up on a #1 that arrived just before the pandemic hit.

Long time, Aric

So this one is pretty interesting. I don’t even remember this honestly, but apparently Valiant Comics had restarted their X-O Manowar series just before the pandemic struck back in March.

So issue #1 arrived at retail, and then the entire industry went on hiatus as we all shuttered ourselves away for the spring/summer. It was a heck of a start too, as Valiant reports that the book clocked in as one of the 100 best-selling comics when it re-debuted. But that was then, and this is now, and Aric of Dacia is ready to continue his battle against evil in X-O Manowar #2.

Check out the special preview below:

Harvey Award-winner DENNIS HOPELESS (Star Wars: Darth Vader – Dark Visions) and astonishing artist EMILIO LAISO (Marvel’s Spider-Man: Velocity) present an action-packed chapter that puts a brand-new character, Troy Whitaker, in the spotlight. Will Aric’s new ally help him become the hero that the modern world needs, or will X-O’s primitive ways only cause more damage?

Valiant Comics press release

X-O Manowar #2 îs in stores tomorrow, November 25th.
