Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer Released

Red Dead Redemption 2 finally has a trailer

The internet has been going stir crazy over the last few days over the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2. The sequel to the critically acclaimed game released back in 2010. As of today, Rockstar has released the trailer for the game just as they promised they would. It’s a rather bare bones trailer, but we now have a bit more information with which to speculate.

When Red Dead Redemption 2 was first teased, the popular theory was that it would be a prequel. The picture of the gang on the teaser was speculated to be the gang of Dutch van der Linde. The man that John Marston followed when he was younger. Indeed, a man speaks in the trailer, giving advice on what to do in a bad situation to an unseen person. Whether this confirms the theory of the game being a prequel or not is yet to be seen.

In reality, the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer reveals very little. The majority of it is used to show off the downright beautiful world the game will be taking place in. With beautiful nature contrasting with the ramshackle settlements of the old west. Information is being kept rather close to the chest at the moment. Despite this, fans seem to be down ecstatic at the thought of another Red Dead game. Let’s hope that Rockstar can deliver.
