Preview: Harbinger Wars #2

The opening shots of Harbinger Wars are already on store shelves in the recently released first issue of Harbinger Wars, but Valiant Comics are back with a preview of issue 2 that’ll knock your socks off- telekinetically!

After billions of dollars and years of development, Project Rising Spirit finally produced a weapon capable of taking down the world’s most powerful psionic – a weapon they called Bloodshot. Now, in the deserts outside Las Vegas, their escaped Harbinger hunter has finally come face-to-face with the man he was engineered to eliminate and his secret programming is about to unleash a whole new set of deadly, upgraded abilities – whether he wants it to or not! And soon Harada will discover firsthand what it means to combat an adversary that doesn’t want justice, retribution, or power. It only wants him. Dead. And any casualties are acceptable – even Bloodshot himself.

The first issue of Harbinger Wars left things off with a massive cliffhanger and it looks like issue 2 is going to pick up that ending and run with it. Harada is a great villain, the kind that doesn’t believe he’s doing anything wrong, and Bloodshot is fast becoming one of the most unstoppable forces in comics. It should be very interesting, to put it mildly, to see them clash.

The second issue of this year’s biggest Valiant Comics event from the creative team of Joshua Dysart, Duane Swierczynski, and Clayton Henry, will be landing on the racks this May the 1st.
