Club Nintendo has officially been shuttered… or, it will be anyway. Not to worry though, the company already has something else on the drawing boards.

Well, it looks like Nintendo’s Amiibo are a hit. Shocking, I know.

After Burner 3D jets onto the 3DS in an eShop update that also includes Lufia: The Legend Returns from the GameBoy Color and Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight.

It’s going to be a busy few months for Nintendo fans.

As Nintendo Directs go, this was a pretty packed one.

The Nintendo Download is still looking a bit sparse since the Holiday rush, but there are a few decent choices this week, if you’re so inclined.

If you’re a big time Majora’s Mask fan, then you’re probably going to want to pre-order this.

There’s a Bionic Commando in this week’s Nintendo Download, but it’s not the one you’re thinking of.

According to Joystiq, GameBoy classic Tetris is getting the heave-ho form the eShop on the 3DS this New Year’s Eve, along with Tetris Axis.

The designs used in characters and now traps for Activision and Toys for Bob’s Skylanders series have been more or less a static thing, with no changes since the first game hit shelves. Well, not anymore.

Oh my lord is this game hard. Mega Man Zero on the GameBoy (now on the Virtual Console) is the opposite of a pushover. If that’s too nail-chewingly tough for you, perhaps you’re more in the mood for a little old school grappling?

Because what’s the Holidays without some singing broccoli?

Get ’em while you can, some Amiibo won’t be back at retail ever again once they’re sold out.

Looking to play a little Nintendo while you’re out and about this Holiday? Well, aside from the mall tour, the gaming giant will also have Wii U and 3DS arcades in Best Buy stores this coming Saturday.
