While we have yet to see Ripley and crew in the new prequel DLC for Alien: Isolation, you can hear them loud and clear in this new trailer.
As a fan myself, that’s just so stinkin’ cool. All the atmosphere that Creative Assembly has poured into Alien: Isolation already, applied to the movie that started one of the biggest science fiction/horror franchises in the world- and it sounds and looks amazing.
Of course, none of this is included on the standard edition version of Isolation. To get one of the new missions, you’ll have to pre-order the game. And if you want to get both of them, you’ll have to pre-order it from GameStop. Sega hasn’t announced any plans to offer either of them as paid DLC somewhere down the line either, so for now, if you want ’em you kind of have to pre-order and plunk some cash down now for what just might be one of the best games of 2014.
Alien: Isolation debuts on the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this OCtober the 7th.
