Alien: Isolation 2, Crazy Taxi: World Tour, Virtua Fighter Crossroads, and much more were all unveiled by Sega this past weekend.
SEGA!
If we were still doing show wrap-ups, and we were talking about E3, Sega would be all over our coverage. The publisher had a huge weekend during the four big online gaming presentations, including both huge reveals and a series of updates for titles that we already knew were coming up.
We actually covered a few of them already, but the publisher sent over a a concise collection, and we can’t resist running with that. That’s due to the fact that there was a gaggle of impressive games included. And those start off with those fresh unveilings.
Sega is, of course, one of the oldest names in gaming. And to that end, it has a mess of huge properties under its tent. We saw the return of one of those this weekend, with Crazy Taxi: World Tour. A game that looks to keep the flavor of the originals, but add in a full campaign mode, it’s fast become a game to watch for us, as we head towards its 2027 launch.
That was far from all though, as the legendary Alien: Isolation got a sequel announcement. A return to the vibes of the original game is a big deal, and one that fans have been clamoring a while for. Virtua Fighter Crossroads busted loose as well, and if you’re looking for ‘different’, it might have you covered.
The series has always been about one-on-one fighting, but this upcoming sequel melds that with action. And from that genre mashup, Virtua Fighter will be making the leap into brawler territory. Not to worry though, as it’ll also offer up a traditional fighting versus mode. Have your cake and eat it too? Kinda looks like it.
As mentioned though, there’s a lot more than that. And to that end, you can scroll down the page for the official word on all of the above and the myriad of additional stuff that’s on the horizon. That includes the likes of Total War: Warhammer 40,000, Stranger Than Heaven, and more.
