AEW fans can get “Very Handsome, Very Evil” with new Fight Forever DLC

The latest round of downloadable grapplers is now available for AEW Fight Forever, and it’s both handsome and, yes, evil.

In the Hookhousen

One of Hook’s first teaming in AEW was with a fan-favorite wrestler by the name of Danhousen. The pairing of the dangerous second-generation star with the face-painted curse machine was a hit with fans from day one, and led to some memorable moments for the AEW faithful.

While Hook has since moved on and Danhousen has been on the shelf with an injury, you can relive those “Very Handsome, Very Evil” moments in AEW Fight Forever as of today. That’s thanks to the latest infusion of DLC, which brings the pair into the digital arena. And unless we’re off the mark, this is the first appearance in any video game for either one of them.

Available now, AEW: Fight Forever’s nostalgic arcade feel and hand-drawn animations has created a frenzy among wrestling and fighting game purists alike. AEW: Fight Forever presents fans with their first chance to pull off wrestling moves only seen on the wildly popular AEW programming. Online co-op wrestling has gone completely next level with Tag-Team matches that feature sequences of team maneuvers performed with simple commands. Game modes include Ladder Match, Exploding Barbed Wire, Casino Battle Royale, and the highly anticipated STADIUM STAMPEDE along with a stacked roster of popular AEW wrestlers. Fans can also enjoy career mode, wrestler customization, signature AEW arenas, and good ol’ fashioned unsanctioned fun!

THQ Nordic press release

Available separately for $7.99 USD, the Hookhousen pack is also a part of the game’s season pass, and is included in the AEW Fight Forever Elite Edition. Don’t have a copy of the base game just yet? It’s out now for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, plus the PC and the Nintendo Switch. Just a note on the latter platform though, as you won’t be able to get “Very Handsome, Very Evil” on the Switch til a few days from now. The pack doesn’t arrive for that version of the game til October 5th.

Oh, and if you’re on the fence about the game altogether, maybe having a look at our review might assist. You can do that by clicking here.
