Starfield is looking more massive than anyone had thought

Game fans looking for an adventure to lose themselves in will likely find it in Bethesda’s absolutely gigantic, sci-fi blockbuster Starfield.

It’s full of stars

No, literally, it’s fun of stars, and planets, and creatures, and action, and crafting, and base-building, and crew management, and… well you get the picture. If there was one big takeaway to rule them all that came out of yesterday’s Starfield presentation, it was that this is set to be one of the biggest games of all time.

If you can imagine an RPG element, it’s likely in Bethesda’s upcoming epic. Gameplay in Starfield goes from the massive, like the actual campaign and all of its side-options, to the micro. It allows players to manage their crew, build-out their starships how they like, and even pick their professions, be it bounty hunter or pirate.

The look at the game also touched on Constellation, which will be the driving force behind the title’s narrative. That’s a group of explorers, the last of its kind, that your character will join in the storyline. They’ll nudge you in the right direction of collecting artifacts from across space, though it certainly seems as though that’s just the tip of the story’s iceberg.

Starfield arrives for the Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 6th, 2023. You can get a 5 day jump on playing if you grab either the Constellation Edition or the Premium Edition though, which are outlined below.
