A pretty big Marvel Comics landmark is coming up in November, and you better believe Avengers #750 is going to have variant covers.
Celebrating the greats
In the last few years we’ve seen a number of huge, landmark issues, and not just from Marvel either. But that said, it’s a little tough to overstate the magnitude of a book like Avengers hitting the lofty number of 750.
Yes, it’s true that the comic abandoned its traditional numbering for some time, but when you ball ’em all together, you get that mighty set of digits. And of course, to celebrate, Marvel Comics has a fresh slate of variant covers prepared.
Those will come from the likes of series’ artist Ed McGuinness, as well as Ron Lim, Simone Bianchi, Marcos Martin, Rob Liefeld, and newcomer Carmen Carnero. You can get a look at them in the gallery below.
Take special note of that Ed McGuinness piece while you’re looking through. Not only is it a cool image, but it features the new Masters of Evil, a villainous super-team that will debut in this very issue. Expect a big arc from that, told by McGuinness as he’s the artist on the book’s interiors.
By McGuinness, and the writing team of Jason Aaron and Christopher Ruocchio, Avengers #750 hits stands on November 17th.
