Nintendo Download brings Total Chaos, OPUS: Prism Peak, and more

First-person horror game Total Chaos arrives for the Switch 2, alongside “photo adventure” OPUS: Prism Peak for both Switch consoles.

Total Chaos, or an photographic OPUS

It’s kind of an interesting week for Nintendo players. There’s the spotlighted title for one thing, which would be OPUS: Prism Peak. But then there’s also the port of a game that we’d say deserves a little notoriety with Total Chaos.

The two titles couldn’t be more different, though they do have some supernatural similarities. OPUS: Prism Peak, for example, casts players as a photog who’s stranded with a young lady. Said player’s task? Well, that’d be snapping pics aplenty, via an old analog camera. Gameplay isn’t quite so straightforward though, as there are spirits about and secrets to uncover. OPUS: Prism Peak is out now for both Switch and Switch 2.

On the (almost) completely opposite end of the spectrum, is Total Chaos. Released last year for other platforms and landing for the Switch 2 on April 29th, Total Chaos hails from Apogee. Aside from the legendary publisher though, it was assembled by the same developer as Turbo Overkill. And if you know anything about that game, then you know Sam Prebble’s involvement is worth noting. Unlike said cyberpunk blaster though, Total Chaos looks to deliver a terrifying jaunt through a lonely island, with players fielding a lost coastguardsman.

Aside from the above, there’s the usual additional assortment of games. That runs the gamut from MotoGP26 for the Switch 2, to a massive list of stuff landing for the family’s original console. Check ’em all out in the listing below.
