Perhaps one of the lesser known independent wrestling companies, WOW will be putting on a panel at the SDCC this month.

So this is kind of a big time move for WOW, Women of Wrestling. For the first time, the wrestling company will be joining fans in San Diego for Comic Con International later this month, for a panel that’ll come complete with an autograph session and a giveaway.
Fans will be able to join WOW co-owners Jeanie Buss and David McLane, as well as WOW “Superheroes” Coach Campanelli and Genesis, for a discussion on the promotion. The group will be talking up the state of female representation in wrestling, but also sports in general, and will be showing a sneak preview of WOW’s third season of action.
“WOW – Women Of Wrestling – Bringing WOW Superheroes To Life” will kick off on Friday, July 26th, and run from 5:30pm to 6:30pm pacific time. Fans will be able to find it in Room 6DE at the San Diego Convention Center. But wait, there’s more in store for grapple-fans than just the stage presentation.
Opening up that same day in Room 33C (also in the San Diego Convention Center), will be that autograph session we mentioned above. Featuring David McLane, as well as Superheroes Coach Campanelli and Genesis, the session will ring the bell at 12:30pm and run until 1:15pm. Don’t worry about finding something to sign either, as WOW says that the image you see here in this story will be given away in poster form.
