Season 3 of Blood Bowl III kicks off with The Shambling Undead

The dead have risen in the Olde World… and they’re ready for some football. “Blood Bowl” that is, with the newly launched Season 3.

That’s gotta be one stinky locker room

A third season of content has indeed launched for NACON and Cyanide Studio’s Blood Bowl this week, and as usual the latest year is doing so with a fresh load of content. Maybe “fresh” is a poor choice of words though, since we’re talking about the undead.

The Shambling Undead is here, and ready to tear up the field with new star players and rewards for the Blood Pass. Just keep in mind that you might’ve seen some of this new team’s players before. You know… when they were alive.

Shambling Undead teams are drawn from a mix of vicious undead creatures and former Blood Bowl players who died on the pitch and – through the art of necromancy – have been given the chance of a second career! With their smart blend of slow but powerful players, such as Mummies and Zombies, as well as faster but less durable players such as Ghouls and Skeletons, the Shambling Undead form a versatile team with which players can easily get to grips.

The arrival of the Shambling Undead team is also accompanied by a new field, coach, cheerleader squad and a ball themed for this faction. As a side note, players can also purchase the Season 1 & 2 teams from the Blood Pass separately.

NACON press release

Along with season 3 of its content, you can grab the base Blood Bowl 3 game for the PC, as well as PlayStation and Xbox platforms.
