The Bros are back in their final form with Broforce Forever

They’re back for one last dance. The Bros of Broforce have returned for one update to rule them all, as Broforce Forever finally arrives.

If you don’t know Broforce and you’re an action movie fan, then this one’s for you. From developer Free Lives, Broforce basically spoofs every major (and a bunch of minor) action movie hero from the 80s/90s. If you have a favorite, there’s a good chance they’ve been included in some way.

The level of detail in the retro title is quite stunning, with tons of callbacks to the action/classics of old. While it’s spoofy for sure, it’s also done with a lot of care. Oh, and of course the game itself is all action, all the time, complete with deformable terrain and explosive, terrorist-vanquishing special moves.

Broforce Forever is the last update for the core title, which debuted in 2015. It adds in more playable Bros’ as well as a bunch of other stuff.
