Set in the nuclear wasteland of New York City during the year 199X, Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons features a showdown between the iconic Double Dragon brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, and their allies against the criminal gangs terrorizing the city for dominance. Defeat one gang and the others will seize the opportunity to grab more power for themselves by enhancing their own abilities and bringing in new sub-bosses to take players down.

The 4 main characters in Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons include the Lee brothers, naturally, but also for the first time Marian, and newcomer Uncle Matin. They’re just the tip of the iceberg though, as goes the game’s tag team combat, as there’ll be a total of 13 playable fighters, all unlocked as you play. Yes that includes the massive Abobo.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is coming to the Switch and PC, as well as PlayStation and Xbox platforms on July 27th.
