A roster full of new additions is on the way for WWE 2K23’s MyGM mode

Revealed today via the UpUpDownDown podcast, WWE 2K23’s show-managing MyGM mode is set for a host of new features.

I’m ba-ack

Yes Eric Bischoff is included in the MyGM mode for WWE 2K23, as a selectable general manager. But the former WCW honcho isn’t alone, as players can also select to play as legends like Kurt Angle and Mick Foley, or even the hosts of the UpUpDownDown podcast, WWE talents Tyler Breeze and Xavier Woods.

That was reveled today, along with a host of other info about the mode, via the aforementioned YouTube show. From the sound of things, MyGM is being built out quite a bit by 2K and developer Visual Concepts, including hosting new shows to manage like NXT and yes, WCW.

The mode can include up to 4 GM’s, plus a whole mess of match types. Expect the likes of “Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Steel Cage, Backstage Brawl, Falls Count Anywhere, Submission, Iron Man, Last Man Standing, and Tornado Tag”.

Additionally, players will have to “draft a roster, manage budgets, sign free agents, choose various match types, arena locations, production elements and more”. Sounds like a lot of work, but it should all pay off when you best your competition in the all important ratings-war. Well, that and maybe take home a Slammy Award or two (yep, they’re included).

You’ll be able to dig into the above and a lot more when WWE 2K23 hits consoles and the PC this month. Look for it on March 14th in Deluxe and Icon Edition forms, or when the base and cross-gen versions land on the 17th.
