TRAILER: Playstation classic ‘The Last of Us’ comes to TV this January

The long awaited adaptation of the legendary Playstation game ‘The Last of Us’ has released it’s official trailer. Adapted by Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and the game’s original writer Neal Druckman, the series stars Pedro Pascal, who, breaking new ground in his career, will be escorting a young woman (Game of Thrones’ Bella Ramsay as Ellie) across a United States overrun by zombies, armed gangs, and an authoritarian military, to the “safety” of a band of freedom fighters.

With an accomplished creative team, this promises to be an excellent addition to the ranks of fellow acclaimed video game adaptations Arcane and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

The Last of Us releases January 15 on HBO, or wherever you get your HBO programs.
