Hot Toys’ Bo-Katan set to ship before 2023. Check out the unboxing

Mandalorian and leader of the Nite Owls, Bo-Katan Kryze is one of the newest additions to Hot Toys’ Star Wars collection.

No Dark Saber?

If you’ve been keeping up with Disney Plus’ best show The Mandalorian, then you know all about the return of Clone Wars vet Bo-Katan Kryze. A former member of the Death Watch and leader of The Mandalorian tribes, Bo-Katan made a triumphant return in the show.

Played by actress Katee Sackhoff, Kryze was an eventual ally to The Mandalorian star Din Djarin. She was a big part of the show’s second season, and looks to play an even bigger part in the proceedings as events move forward into the eventual season 3.

So if you’ve got a Hot Toys “Mandalorian” collection cooking, you’re likely going to be interested in a figure that’s set to ship some time before the end of the year. That, if you haven’t guessed it by now (or missed the title of this article), is Bo-Katan Kryze herself.

And yes, I realize she never had the Dark Saber in the show. Just watch the unboxing.

Inspired by The Mandalorian series, the Bo-Katan Kryze 1/6 Scale Figure features a hand-painted headsculpt with a detailed likeness of Katee Sackhoff as she appeared in the role. The figure comes with Bo-Katan’s distinctive decorated helmet, finely crafted armor with weathering effects, and a meticulously tailored undersuit with stitched details. Accessories include a grappling hook, a jetpack with booster fire effects, a pair of blasters, a dagger, and an Imperial cruiser diorama piece.

Sideshow Toys press release

Bo-Katan is set to ship with this month or the next (December, 2022), and is just one part of The Mandalorian collection from Hot Toys. The company’s retailing partner Sideshow Toys has a bunch of characters up for pre-order, including Din himself (on a Blurrg), Grogu, Koska Reeves, and Axe Woves.
