Marvel Legends heads to the arcades, with a Marvel vs Capcom War Machine

Remember in Marvel vs Capcom, when War Machine appeared and was a reskin of Iron Man? That same form-factor is about to get an action figure.

What is it good for?

Very (very) quietly, we might be starting to see the beginning of a Marvel vs Capcom sub-line for Hasbro’s Marvel Legends. That might seem odd, but consider two things. First, Hasbro has been on a 90s kick as of late, as goes the Marvel realm. And second, we just got an Iron Man that’s ripped right from the games, complete with “PROTON CANNON”.

This new War Machine makes two from the game, even though he’s effectively just a repaint. Though again, that makes sense, since the video game version was just a deco-swap too.

As you’ll see though, the Marvel Legends version of the character is looking particularly sharp. The silvery-blue color scheme has made the jump in fine form.

Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes unleashes a torrent of explosive devastation in his modular War Machine armor. Celebrate the Marvel Universe and the game Marvel vs. Capcom with this Marvel Legends War Machine 6-Inch Action Figure. This fun 6-inch scale War Machine figure is inspired by the character’s appearances in fighting games with 6 accessories including alternate hands to attach repulsor ray blast accessories and unibeam blast effect accessory as his repulsors are primed and ready for more action! Ages 4 and up.
